All forensic science students are required to register for course titled "Programme announcements" on this website. This course is actually just a way for the program coordinator to make important announcements since the course is located in two locations. When when an announcement is made, the coordinator will put the detail of the announcement on this website under the course title programme announcement. He or she will then send a summarise announcement to your e-mail. You will only get the announcement in your e-mail if you register under the course titled "Programme announcements". So, please register as soon as you read this announcement. I would really appreciate if you would also inform your colleagues.

  All forensic science students are required to enlist in this section. the section will be used to make general announcement pertaining to the course. when you analyst in this section, the program coordinator can make announcements on the website and also sent a summary of what has been listed on this site through your e-mail. Class representative/ head can also make an announcements on this course but you need to contact the program coordinator to upgrade your status from student to teacher.

  This course is a continuation of basic pharmacology and basic toxicology. The the course deals specifically into the various issues related to toxicology and forensic science. the notes that is listed on the site was donated generously by En. Yusof, our resident forensic toxicologist.

  Introduction towards molecular biology. student will be exposed to an updated knowledge pertaining to genetics that will eventually lead to molecular biology. Students will be exposed to the relevancy of molecular biology in forensic science at the end of each lecture. This paper is actually a foundation for molecular biology courses which will be offered in the third year and also will help student conduct molecule-based research in the final year.

  This is a course which covers the research component of forensic science. • Crime Scene Investigation: Examining the evidence

  A course which is a mirror to Examining the Evidence offered by The Center of Talented Youth, John Hopkins University. This course is a basic introduction of Forensic Science that teaches students on the basic or deductive reasoning, experimentation and group interaction. It is a three weeks course, occupying weekdays from 830am to 5pm.It is offered in December at Permata Pintar for talented youth aged between 13 to 15 years old.
  
• Basic fluorescent workshop

  This workshop will introduce participants to the various techniques for fluorescent staining. Prior to the introduction of the various fluorescent technique participants will understand how fluorescent microscope work and how they can make be manipulated to achieve the desired result or experiment.the first component of the workshop will be lectures and discussion. Later, students or participants will be exposed to hands on the use of fluorescent microscope in research. This workshop is actually a stepping stone for the use of confocal microscope.
  
• Basic DNA sampling for crime scene investigator

  This is course conducted for the Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) on behalf of Unipeq. it is an introduction to basic DNA sampling for crime scene investigator. It is composed of lectures and crime scene simulation. Participants will receive either a certificate of Ability or certificate of attendance based on the performance in the workshop. Re-certification is required every two years. The content of this course can be used as a refresher course but questions must be updated each time a workshops conducted.
